EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - AMONJE MOSES OLUCHIRI
The United Nations Youth Agenda, Empowering Youth for Development and Peace, recognizes that young people everywhere are at risk. It recognizes too that they have aspirations, and that they are agents for social change economic development and technological innovation. It recommends that those growing up in today’s world should live under conditions that encourage their imagination, ideals, energy and the vision to flourish.

My vision is to become a positive contributor in community development. I have zeal to make this happen and I believe I have a call to develop the community by economically empowering its people. I appreciate that this is not a task I can achieve immediately or on my own, it is a lifelong ambition and I am committed to running the race set before me. Currently am pursuing a course in Certified Public Accounting and thereafter a degree in Community Development. With this I will be better placed to implement my duties as the Family Resource Centre Executive Director effectively and efficiently.

I am delighted to work and serve The Family Community Based Organization Kenya under The Family Resource Centre. The Resource Centre will address most of the challenges affecting the youth and community at large by providing a forum for them to interact and discuss the challenges they face among them unemployment, crime and violence, drug abuse, sexual exploitation especially young girls and women, worsening health conditions and the transmission of infectious diseases worst HIV/AIDS, environmental degradation, neglect by higher authorities and often abandonment to their fate because of various forms of discrimination.

There are no easy solutions to overcome the above mentioned. It is incumbent upon us therefore, to create new programs and opportunities. The salvation begins right here. I welcome like minded individuals, organizations and partners to join us to bring back hope to the frustrated lot for I believe, If the Young People are Equipped and Involved Today is Assured and Tomorrow is Safe.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER – DENNIS OCHIENG’
Being a qualified Accountant and an administrator, I am involved with the overall management of all the financial and administrative tasks in the organization. Though a challenging position, I must say, I have been able to achieve what is required of me through hard work, dedication and commitment. From managing finances, record keeping, report writing, procurement procedures, dealing with staff; to mention but a few, I have been able to see to it that the ultimate goals and objectives of the group are met. My work has been made easier by the personnel, which is a cooperative and dedicated lot within the organization. With the various departments in the organization, work flow is at its best and well streamlined. This I believe is what has brought us this far as a organization. Working as an administrator in the Family Resource Centre has made me realize my full potential as a leader and made me serve my colleagues and the community at large with all the deserved enthusiasm and dedication.
